Art Director

Position Objective

The Art Director at Brandish is key to developing new brand positioning and identity strategies for clients and helping to build and manage campaign and brand communication on an ongoing basis. They will ensure adherence to brand standards from all stakeholders and will look to constantly discover new creative opportunities for their clients to better engage with their audience.

They will work closely with their team Strategist to understand all aspects of the customer journey and client marketing programs and work to drive creative and strategic excellence for maximum impact and performance.

The Art Director will employ a multi-disciplined approach to creative development. They will utilize a rich understanding of history, art, culture, psychology, marketing theory and design to inform their insights and solutions and use a mix of media and copy to help articulate their vision.
They will participate and at times lead creative and strategic sessions of discovery within the agency to reveal new insights and opportunities to further client goals.

They will leverage existing frameworks and methodologies from within Brandish and look to iterate upon them and develop new approaches to brand communication when necessary.

The Art Director will be an essential conduit from their client team to the Creative Services department within the agency as they help shape briefs and communicate direction and vision verbally and through any communication method they identify to effectively convey their ideas.

Creative Leadership

  • Review and approve design work from internal and external resources
  • Work with clients to pitch and develop creative solutions
