Position Objective

Brandish is looking for a  Brand and Marketing Strategist to join our growing team. Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Planning, the Brand and Marketing Strategist will be responsible for planning and managing various campaigns, UX, engagement and communication strategies that work towards distinguishing and solidifying our clients’ brand experiences. Because of that, this role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing tactics, modern brand and website practices, content planning, social and traditional media, data analysis and research methods.
The Brand and Marketing Strategist will distill high level quarterly plans into detailed briefs ready for agency production. By completing research to find insightful consumer data, or leaning on experience in digital or content strategy to understand how to best carry a brand message forward—it’s your responsibility to identify the direction that will resonate with our end consumer.

Key Accountabilities:

The Brand and Marketing Strategist Will

  • Prepare brand, campaign, website or communication projects for implementation by crafting well-researched strategic or creative briefs and guidelines for product, design, digital and content departments.
  • Ensure that post-brief, agency outputs are on-strategy and in-line with quarterly objectives as defined by both the Accounts and Strategy department.
  • Ensure consistency across all marketing content and distribution channels.
  • Identify audience segments and customer journeys for various clients, and adapting as required through overall marketing progression.
  • Work with Product on website and UX planning through user-story and content workflow creation.
  • Support in developing and presenting a Brand Narrative, Strategy and Brand presentations.
  • Make decisions on budget allocation, media spend and work with media vendors to purchase relevant out of home and traditional ads.
  • Analyze analytics and digital advertising data to develop and present marketing reports.
  • Develop and oversee implementations of Inbound Workflows.
  • Evaluating campaign or brand effectiveness.

About You

  • 3-4 years in a professional digital marketing, advertising or creative communications setting. Experience in an agency environment is considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of digital, social and CRM platforms like HubSpot, Pardot and Google Analytics.
  • Experience using market research tools like Survey Monkey, Google Surveys, and/or hosting and facilitating focus groups or ethnographic reports.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience driving lead or performance growth through various marketing channels.
