Project Coordinator

Position Objective

The Project Coordinator will fill an essential role at Brandish. As a part of a small but rapidly growing team, the Project Coordinator (PC) will ensure that all projects run smoothly and that we exceed the needs and wants of our clients. This position will touch parts of each project from client relations to creative services, to project execution.

The PC will receive guidance and direction, yet should feel comfortable working independently and taking direct feedback. As Brandish is a small team, the ideal candidate will successfully lend their strategic thinking, content strategy and social media marketing skill sets to the entirety of the project workflow. This will include stepping in, as schedule allows, to fulfill client requests for social media community management, creative brainstorming and digital strategy development.

The PC will work closely with Project Managers to ensure each project is handled with care from initial engagement to final deliverable. This includes communicating client requests with the Brandish team, coordinating with vendors or stakeholders to facilitate timely work and project milestones, and developing and maintaining happy and healthy relationships with current and potential clients.

Key Accountabilities:

Project scoping and briefing

  • Support Project Manager in determining project scope
  • Create comprehensive client and project briefs to share with the Brandish team

B. Project coordination

  • Coordinate creative services with internal stakeholders and agency partners to ensure all work is complete
  • Coordinate timelines to ensure projects stay on track and are delivered on time

C. Creative Content Support

  • Facilitating support for vendors and the agency to coordinate copywriters, photographers, videographers and strategists, as needed

Knowledge and Experience

  • 1 year professional experience in a communications or marketing role
  • Experience using social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram is required

Tools, Equipment or Other Technical Abilities

  • Experience working in Microsoft Excel and / or Google Sheets
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud is considered an asset
