Position Objective

As part of our drive to better serve our clients and execute on opportunities we identify to create our own products, we are currently building a technical team based out of our downtown Toronto office.

Reporting to the Director of Product, the Web Developer - Front-End will be the latest addition to our growing technical team, focused around growing our ability to achieve excellence in coding end user-facing interfaces.

As the ideal candidate for this position, you have recently completed a technical program focused on giving you an advanced understanding of HTML, CSS and JS, towards the ends of helping you to bring web interfaces to life on different platforms.

You are passionate about continuing to advance your skills, learn new technologies and methodologies, and get the opportunity to apply your abilities for clients.

You feel confident in helping others with less technical capabilities to realize their visions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work as a member of our Product Team to plan and develop client web properties
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of web design assets created by our Design Team
  • Relentlessly optimize managed web properties in terms of performance to provide the best possible UX
  • Build email marketing templates to be implemented in a variety of automation platforms
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to create re-usable assets to improve the efficiency of the web development process
  • Understand the wide range of server-side CSS pre-processing languages, and advocate for the most effective one


  • 1+ year of professional development experience (internships count!)
  • A portfolio of web development work that showcases excellent front-end capabilities
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, such as HTML5 and CSS3
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JS frameworks, such as JQuery
  • Excellent communicator
  • Seeks feedback and continuously looks for opportunities to learn and improve
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Experience working in a client-driven environment an asset
  • Experience using a UI design tool such as Adobe XD or Sketch an asset
  • Understanding of web performance optimization an asset
